Sweet Potato
So, I tried a sweet potato Tuesday. I didn't like it at all. I tried hard not to swallow it by leaving my mouth open and sticking out my tongue. Eventually, the bad stuff would slide forward using my spit to help my tongue be a slide. Mom said that maybe because it was a different variety of sweet potato (it was light yellow instead of bright orange like she said sweet potatoes normally were). I got to eat avacado yesterday instead of having to attempt the s.p. again. But today, Mom gave me another sweet potato, this time it was bright orange. I still didn't care for it too much, but it wasn't as bad as Tuesday's. Mom said I need to try it a couple more days to see if it gets any better. Maybe it will. The avacado tasted better after a few tries. I'll keep everyone updated.
Last Friday, I went w/ Mom to see Dad for lunch. It was a nice outing. Over the weekend, Grandma came for a visit. I got to eat my avacado snack out at a restaurant while everyone else ate. That's the picture at Dalt's you can see. Not much has been going on. Mom and I try to go for a walk in the mornings. We usually go about 3 or 4 times a week. I like our walks. I've started riding in just my stroller, leaving the car seat just for the car. It's a lot cooler and I can look out and see more that way. I usually end up taking a nap about halfway through the walk, but I sightsee a lot before napping. Mom usually lets me finish my nap while she drinks some water and checks her email in the garage. It's always kind of weird waking up in the garage, but then I see Mom and I know I'm home. We then usually go in and either play for a while, let Mom take a shower, or eat a snack. Today, while out for a walk, a summer shower came while we were at the other end of the subdivision. Mom and I took cover under a pear tree. We met a nice neighbor named Gail. She was out walking too when it started raining. I really didn't get wet even though we didn't have an umbrella. It was kind of fun. I liked watching the rain fall. It didn't thunder or lightning which was good. It stopped after about 10 minutes and Mom and I finished our walk. We went to see Dad again at work and had lunch w/ him. They weighed me and I now weigh 17 pounds. It's fun getting to visit Dad at work. He seems to like to walk around w/ me a lot. I like getting to meet all the nice people who work at his office w/ him. Everyone seems very happy when I see them.
Dad's on call for the weekend for the first time starting tomorrow. Fortunately, he gets to answer call at home or wherever we are. I'm glad he still gets to spend time w/ me. I hope he doesn't get called too much. It's late, and I need to go to sleep. Mom said she needs a little sleep as well, so I have to put away the computer. Bye to everyone reading!

Hi Sophie! What's your daddy's pager number? I think it would be fun to trick him every now and then. It can be our secret... You looked cute with the spikey hair do. How about a rat tail? Can you can mom make that happen?
The Uncle...
