Two for Tuesday

Two firsts today. I took my first bath in a big-girl's tub this morning. Mom tried to have me take one in it a couple of weeks ago, but I didn't like the idea at all. I was still not too thrilled about it this morning, but Mom helped me and gave me lots of fun toys to play with while in the tub. It wasn't too bad and I think I'll try it again soon. The other first was using a toothbrush on my four teeth. Mom didn't use toothpaste; she said that'll come tomorrow maybe. So, those were my two firsts today.

Kindermusik started its new session today. "Feathers" is the name of the program this time. We have new hello and goodbye songs. Mom put the CD in the car so we can start learning the songs. Hannah was there again, and we have a new girl in my class also named Sophie. So with only three of us there today, two of us were named Sophie. Emmy will be back next week and will help balance out the names. I even showed everyone how I'm walking now; they all clapped for me after I walked across the room.

Kel and Jason came over for dinner tonight. Dad made a home-made sauce for the pasta they ate. Everyone said it was very yummy. I didn't have any; I heard there was lots of garlic that I might not necessarily care for right now. I ate my snack (yogurt/oatmeal/almond butter) at the table with everyone. I did lots of walking and playing with Mom afterwards while Dad talked with Kel and Jason. Eventually, the guys all found their way upstairs to the movie/game room. I've eaten by now and it's late so I'm off to bed. The guys are still playing X-Box; they'll probably be there for a while. Hopefully they won't still be playing when I wake up in the morning.
