A Cold Wind

It's gotten quite chilly here as of late. A front came through last night that blew all night. It rained practically all day and got colder as the day got longer. Mom and I met Dad at Jersey Mike's for lunch today. He had a slow morning at work and had stopped by his favorite watering-hole, Starbuck's; it's right next door to Jersey Mike's. Later, Mom, Dad, and I went to Sitar Indian restaurant for dinner with Kel, Michelle, and Jason. Michelle is about 4 months pregnant and is starting to show; she looks cute in her maternity clothes. And Jason just got back from a month-long trip to France for the holidays. We had a nice time.

Yesterday, Mom and I took lunch to Dad at his office. They had peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches; I had yogurt with oatmeal and almond butter. It was kind of like a picnic. We even went walking a little outside because it was a really nice temperature (around 67 degrees). Then, last night, Mom went to dance again and I stayed at home with Dad. Yep, Mom went to dance again because her Tuesday night class was cancelled and moved to Wednesday. I got to eat applesauce for part of my snack; it's so much better than the broccoli and green beans Mom tried to get me to eat today. When Mom came home from dance, I did lots of walking. Dad took some video of me as I walked all around the first floor. I'm really getting the hang of walking. It's so much better than crawling.

I get to go see Dad again for lunch tomorrow. That's such a nice part of the day. Then, Saturday, I have a little program with the Kindermusik class so Dad can see what we do every week. The best part about the program is that it means I get to go to Kindermusik twice this week! Maybe Dad will help out with one of the songs we dance to. It's late and I should go rest; there are lots of sweet dreams waiting for me so I'd better close my eyes. Sleep tight everyone.
