So Much to Do, So Many People to Meet

Wow! So much has happened over the last few days. As far as food info goes, I love broccoli! Mom spent quite a bit of time steaming and pureeing broccoli then carrots and freezing them for later. She also made applesauce that was very yummy. And, she steamed and pureed green beans but we didn't have enough to freeze so we'll buy more later. Let's see... What else? Oh yeah! I can crawl up all 15 stairs all by myself! Mom or Dad stands behind me to make sure I'm okay if I were to lose my balance. But that doesn't happen so no-one should worry.

Auntie Michelle came in Friday night, or so I hear. I went to bed Friday night and saw her Saturday morning when I woke up. That morning, we left for Cincinnati. We had dinner at Montgomery Inn with Aunt Martha, Uncle Cliff, Aunt Loretta, and Uncle Eugene. I ate avacado/oatmeal, apples, applesauce, and bread. We discovered that I enjoy getting my water through a straw. I don't use it like everyone else; I like having Mom or Dad drop some water in my mouth with the straw. Straws are fun, but drinking water through them is even better. We dropped off Auntie Michelle at Preacher Joe and Carolyn's and visited for quite a while. I had lots of fun crawling around and playing with a bell. Carolyn even let me take out all her Christmas cards from her basket and put them all over the floor; Mom helped me put them back in the basket. Sunday, we all had lunch with Preacher Joe, Carolyn, and Uncle Gary. Uncle Gary is Mom's uncle who lives in Orlando and was in Cincinnati for business. I enjoyed meeting him; he reminded me a lot of my Uncle Matt. Dad took us on a detailed driving tour of Cincinnati that I'm sure I'll get again as I grow older. That night, we went over to Ray (Grandma's cousin) and Cheryl's house to have a Christmas get-together with Grandma's family. We had a really nice time there. Monday, we again joined Preacher Joe and Carolyn and their family at Findley Market. The stores weren't open yet so we went on to the CG&E building downtown where we saw a really neat display of model trains. Actually, I only heard they were really neat because I was asleep and didn't see them myself. We then went to Jungle Jim's on the way out of town. I was there before but I don't remember it too well. There were so many fun things to see. We finally made the drive back to Nashville.

And that brings us to today. There wasn't Kindermusik because of the Christmas holidays, and Mom didn't have ballet class either. Dad came home and had lunch with us which made up nicely for the other lack of activities. I spent some fun time with Auntie Michelle which also helped pass the day. Well, I'm off to bed to rest up for another fun day tomorrow. I hope everyone reading this is enjoying the holiday season; I sure am.
