AL Family

Oma, Grand-daddy, Uncle Matt, and MeMe came to visit me Thursday. They'll be here till Monday. It's been fun spending time with them. We went to the Christmas parade Friday night after eating dinner downtown. We stood outside for almost 2 hours watching all sorts of neat things. There were marching bands, floats, lots of fire trucks, police cars, motorcylces, and some big balloons. I even saw some clowns. I wore my new coat, hat, and mittens and stayed warm that way. I got pretty sleepy by the time we left. I had so much fun seeing all the new sights.

I got to spend lots of quality time with Mom's family today. I stayed at home with them while Mom and Dad went to have breakfast with the doctors he works with. I was napping and they didn't want to wake me. Then, Mom went to get a haircut while Dad was still out with MeMe and Uncle Matt; Oma and Grand-daddy babysat me. And lastly, Mom and Dad went on a date and let me stay at home rooting on Auburn to their win over Tennessee. It was nice time spent with relatives. But I have to admit:I missed Mom and Dad a lot. I was quite happy when they came home to me. I hear we are going to Opryland Hotel tomorrow evening to see it decorated for Christmas. The twinkling lights people use to decorate for the season are very pretty. Opryland Hotel is supposed to have a lot of those pretty lights. Maybe we'll get some pictures.
